Rain pounded down on Traverse Town. This old, seemingly deserted town was quiet. Well, if it was deserted it was going to be. Though, it wasn't completely deserted. Through the blanket of darkness that is called the night, a young girl staggered toward a house. The house was pretty big, and appeared more or less undamaged from the fire that had destroyed the town itself. The girl however, did not look too good. She was a generally pretty girl, with long, dark brown hair, and a tall and skinny figure. But her teeth were different, sharper somehow. They looked as though she could rip some one to shreds, they weren't huge, just sharp. Her amber eyes glowed against the night's cover. Her burns and scars were barely visible. The girl's ordeal had been, in a way, like most. But slightly different. This girl, well, she was different. As she stumbled and staggered through the darkness, she fell, only to be caught by a boy. He looked strong and was very handsome. It was Peter of course. "Are you okay?" He asked her softly. "Yes thank you." She leapt to her feet, staggering slightly as she did so. Then gained her balance and looked at the man who had just exited the house. "This is the house that once belonged to a man named Cid, right?" "Yes. I'm Peter. Can I help you?" He greeted her warmly. "You should come inside." He told her. She nodded and walked inside, closely followed by Peter. "I'm looking for somebody, maybe you could help me." She told him once he shut the door. "I can try my best." Peter smiled, he liked the people he had met in this job, he'd made some pretty good friends, this girl seemed pretty nice as well. "I'm looking for Ayla, though I think she goes by Ave now." The girl explained. "Ave?" Peter looked shocked, he had never met some one who was actually looking for Ave. "Yes. Do you know her?" "Yeah, she is my boss." He told her, his expression frozen in a shocked position. "Oh! Is she around?" "Not here, sorry." He shook off the feeling and shrugged. "I could tell her you called." "Thank you." The girl nodded to him before smiling, showing just how sharp her teeth were. "You never told me your name. I need to tell her who." He laughed. "Oh right." She played with her hair before looking up at Peter. "Lura. My name is Lura."
